- Place your cursor at the end of the word(s) to be deleted. In the example below, we have clicked at the end of the word “satisfaction” next to the second repeated paragraph:
- On the keyboard, press CTRL and Backspace . The word back to the left will be totally deleted
- Repeat CTRL Backspace for all words to be removed to the left of the cursor to delete the whole repeated paragraph:
By using the combination of CTRL and Backspace you can quickly delete whole words throughout your Word document and this keyboard combination works in Outlook email message text as well.
