When entering data into an Access Table or Query or an Excel worksheet, try out this shortcut for copying data from the row above:
- Position the cursor in the blank cell underneath the cell that contains the data to be copied:
- Press Ctrl ' (apostrophe) on the keyboard.
- The data from the cell directly above will be copied into the active cell:
