(Session 1: 9am-2pm, Session 2: 2pm-4:30pm)

Aims:

This 1-day course comes in two parts and is designed for those who wish to become an effective and inspirational mentor in the workplace as well as those who will be mentored (mentoree).

Objectives:

On completion of session 1, attendees will be equipped with understanding of the role of a mentor and be provided with the skills to enter and establish a new mentoring relationship; to the benefit to the mentee and the organisation.

On completion of session 2, attendees will be equipped with understanding of the role of a mentoree and have clear expectations of what is expected of them. In addition, they will be able to assess if the relationship is working and ideally create a mentoring cycle by motivating them to, in the future, become mentors themselves.
