Learn to identify the key features and functionality of Teams, how to create and join Teams, add team members and participate in conversations and personal chats. Our Microsoft Teams courses will also teach you how to schedule, join and create a meeting and the options available during this process.

Modules

Module 1 - Introduction to Microsoft Teams – Chat, Calls, Meetings & Screen Sharing

Learn:

What Microsoft Teams is and the benefits it can bring to you and your team. We will explore the tools for instant messaging via the ‘Chat’ feature, making audio/video calls, sharing screens, scheduling meetings, notifications and user settings.

Module 2 - Collaborate with Colleagues via Teams and Channels

Learn how to:

Create Teams and Channels to collaborate within your own teams or on specific projects. In addition to creating new Teams and managing members, we will explore posting conversations, working with files, WIKIS and adding additional apps.

Module 3 - Exploring Other Teams Apps: Planner, Forms & OneNote

Learn how to:

Use some of the other apps that are available within Teams to help you work more productively. We will specifically look at organising tasks using Planner, creating surveys via Forms, as well as storing and sharing useful notes in OneNote.

Module 4 - Creating and Managing Teams as a Team Owner

Learn:

More about your role and responsibilities as a Team’s Owner. We will cover creating new Teams and Channels, adding members and guests as well as exploring all the settings for managing Teams.

Run Effective Meetings in Microsoft Teams

Learn how to:

Schedule and run effective meetings using Microsoft Teams including best practice tips to ensure your meetings run as smoothly as possible. Choose from 90 minute watch and learn or 3 hour hand-on options.

Deliver Training via Microsoft Teams

Learn how to:

Schedule and run training events using Microsoft Teams. This workshop is aimed at individuals responsible for delivering training events via Microsoft Teams. One day course broken up into three 90 minute sessions.

Introduction to Microsoft Forms

Learn how to:

Use this app to work collaboratively with colleagues to collect and edit data. Forms is one of the many apps available in Microsoft 365.

Introduction to Microsoft Planner

Learn how to:

Plan and track your work or that of your team using this the Planner app. Planner is one of the many apps available in Microsoft 365.

Introduction to Microsoft Lists

Learn how to:

Create and use Lists to collect and organise data so it can be collectively monitored, reviewed, and shared to enable more streamlined working within a team. Lists is one of the many apps available in Microsoft 365.

Introduction to Microsoft OneNote

Learn how to:

Use OneNote to collate and organise information in a Team Notebook and input information from a variety of sources. OneNote is one of the many apps available in Microsoft 365.

How We Deliver

We currently deliver all training online to comply with the Government's guidelines.

Online training works well for businesses whose staff are mainly working from home.

It allows us to train all of your staff with the same training needs at the same time. Your people simply log on from home, using details provided in advance by our team.

Choose from Watch and Learn sessions for larger groups or interactive hands on sessions for smaller groups.

When permitted we also offer face to face training at your offices.

All sessions can be customised to a half day or 90 minute sprint session and tailored to fit your needs, covering the topic(s) within a course that are most important to your business.
